Στα χρόνια της Τρόικας, όπως τα ζούμε σήμερα, τα συντεχνιακά συμφέροντα πολλών επαγγελματικών κλάδων δέχονται πιέσεις και "συμπιέσεις". Μέσα στις "ανακαλύψεις" των τελευταίων ετών, αναδύθηκε και το "πρόβλημα" του δικηγορικού επαγγέλματος μέσα στην ελληνική κοινωνία. Ξαφνικά, το δικηγορικό επάγγελμα έπρεπε να "ανοίξει" και να καταργηθούν πραγματικά ή πλασματικά επαγγελματικά προνόμια των δικηγόρων. Μέσα στην "αρένα" των στοχοποιημένων προσώπων της μεταπολιτευτικής Ελλάδας, προστέθηκε προς τέρψη των "αιμοδιψών" πολιτών και η εξυγίανση του κλάδου των δικηγόρων. Τελικά, ποια είναι αυτά τα συμφέροντα που έπρεπε να εξαλειφθούν από τους δικηγόρους και για ποιο λόγο;

Δυστυχώς, από τότε που τελειώνοντας τους σπουδές μου άρχισα τη γνωριμία με την ελληνική δικαιοσύνη και το επάγγελμα του δικηγόρου, κατάλαβα το πόσο ήδη απαξιωμένοι ήταν οι δικηγόροι τόσο στα μάτια τόσων των ίδιων των συναδέλφων τους όσο και στα μάτια των πολιτών. This is...Greece! (Part 2)

After the "Dirty 1989", the conservative party tried to impose a new political and macroeconomic ethos. Everything should be sold...privatizations. The elected government thought that privatizations of State Companies (Electricity Power, Water Supply, Industrial etc), that had already become the "palace" of the Unions and occupied thousands of Greek citizens, will promote the development of the Greek Economy and the start of the Capitalist Era in Greece. However, this effort ran into a "wall", that was built by the opposition parties in the Parliament and the Trade Unions. Huge strikes and demonstrations led to the overthrown of the conservative party within three years of its regime. Members of the Conservative Party and the Government were leaving and the Prime Minister was forced to go into new elections. Meanwhile, the war in the former Yugoslavia started and ended with the Greek Government issuing its neutralism, although most of the Greek population were sympathetic to the Orthodox Serbian people. When the war was finished, most of the neighbouring countries suffered the consequences, i.e. refugees, hunger, nationalism. A new-born State of the former Yugoslavia decided that its name can unite its weak and poor people under a nationalist "umbrella" and called their country "Macedonia", the birth place and Kingdom of Alexander the Great. Since then, Greece and Skopije (as Greece recognises them) are in a continuous controversy and although now the U.N. officially recognised Skopije as FYROM (former Yugoslavic Republic of Macedonia), many other countries have already accepted the name "Macedonia" officially. Every Greek Foreign Minister heirs this controversy and although Greek Businessmen have already developed their activities to this neighbouring country (low labour cost), the politicians are still trying to find the solution to this controversy under U.N. supervision [I cannot be objective in this matter, since History states that Ancient Macedonia was a Greek Empire as it is proved by the archaeological findings only in Greek territory.]  

Greek people were affected by this controversy and maybe is still one the major problems that Greeks are united. The new elections in 1992 brought the old socialist Prime Minister back into the power and was

This is ... Greece! (Part 1)

Many people in the world woke up one morning and heard from the news that Greece has serious financial problems and is very close to bankruptcy. Some of them remembered their lovely vacation at the small and sunny European country...Some of them remembered that this country organized the Olympics of 2004... Some of them relieved that it's Greece and not their country....Some others just saw what they were expecting the last years...Some just changed the channel without bothering.

Well, Greece is known in the world for many reasons. Unfortunately, most of them are referring to the past, even to the very long past. Maybe the sun is a continuous trademark for Greece, but the past makes Greece look huge to the eyes of the people of this planet. Today, Greece is going through one of the worst crisis in their 36-year free democratic existence. What happened then????
Thirty six years ago,....

Τρομοκρατία της Οικονομίας

Από τις εκλογές και μετά, ζήσαμε την αγωνία της "αλλαγής"  για 100 ημέρες. Και οι 100 ημέρες συνεχίζονται (αν και πέρασαν....) και το μόνο που έχει αλλάξει είναι η εποχή που ζούμε. Τότε ήταν Φθινόπωρο και τώρα είμαστε στην Άνοιξη. Κυρίαρχο χαρακτηριστικό του νέου "τίποτα" είναι  η τρομοκρατία της οικονομίας.. Τρομοκρατείται ο λαός ότι υπάρχει περίπτωση να χάσει τα χρήματά του προκειμένου να καλύψουν οι κυβερνήσεις τα "χαμένα" χρήματα (επιδοτήσεις, δάνεια, ευρωπαϊκά κονδύλια κ.α.). Τρομοκρατείται ότι δεν υπάρχουν ούτε οι πληρωμές εργαζομενών και συνταξιούχων στο Δημόσιο για τον μήνα Ιούνιο. Τρομοκρατείται από τις τιμές των προϊόντων και καταλαβαίνει ότι πλέον πρέπει να αναζητά τις χαμηλότερες και συμφέρουσες τιμές στις αγορές του. Τρομοκρατείται όταν ακούει ότι θα μειώσουν το μισθό ή τη σύνταξή του και ταυτόχρονα θα πληρώνει και επιπλεόν ΦΠΑ για υπηρεσίες που δεν κόστιζαν απαγορευτικά. Τρομοκρατείται όταν συνειδητοποιεί ότι μόνος τού τα περνάει όλα και η βοήθεια δεν έρχεται από αυτόν που πραγματικά μπορεί να τον βοηθήσει. Αυτή είναι η τρομοκρατία της οικονομίας.

What Change may come?

Yes, stupidity is over. But what if realism is harder than stupidity? Obama 's presidency may be accompanied at the moment with ambitious plans for a better world, but the present instances seem to follow a completely different route. It is not possible to depend the future of the globe on the hands of one person or one country. Imagine what if this country leaves the world on its own. Lets see what happens currently throughout the world.

In Gaza, the Israelis keep hitting the Palestinian ground with smart war movements still killing people. In spite of the so-called truce between both sides, the war is going on and nothing looks positive. After the election on Israel, far-right politicians encourage the isolation of Israel of any kind of Arabs. Their voice, now, is even stronger and while Israel loses people by Hamas bombings (even if this is "set up"), people will listen to this voice more positive. Palestine is a cursed place, full of hatred, and the Laws of the United Nations do not apply at all or noone is there to apply them. Israel is growing its military force with many technological supplies, whereas drastic Palestinian organisations are planning suicide or simple bombings.

ΕΚΛΟΓΕΣ (2)

Έχει μείνει πια μια βδομάδα πριν τις βουλευτικές εκλογές και τα κόμματα έχουν πια παρουσιάσει τα προγράμματα τους και έχουν εξαντλήσει τα "θα" τους. Φυσικά, κανονικά προγράμματα δεν υπάρχουν. Ιδίως για τα δύο κόμματα που θα διεκδικήσουν την εξουσία, υπάρχουν μόνο λόγια του αέρα, τα οποία αξιολογούνται ανάλογα με την άμεση και επικοινωνιακή απήχηση τους. Παράδειγμα, το ΠΑΣΟΚ διακηρύττει την επαναδιαπραγμάτευση μεγάλων ευρωπαϊκών και διεθνών συμφωνιών της απερχόμενης κυβέρνησης. Πραγματικά, πιστεύουν ότι μιλούν σε αφελείς. Οι συμφωνίες αυτές είναι αμφοτεροβαρείς...
